Is your child struggling with reading?

You're not alone and you don't have to be.

Lately you've been feeling that all familiar sense of worry.

Your child's reading progress report just came in and the results caught you off guard.

How did this happen without anyone raising concerns earlier?

Why is your child struggling to read, stumbling over words and feeling lost in the sea of sentences?

Your child is suffering

They're feeling embarrassed in class, too self-conscious to raise their hand and starting to dread subjects they once enjoyed. They know they're behind and the weight of that knowledge is heavy. They're just trying to survive. They're fighting for a decent grade and hoping no one notices how often they're skipping over words they don't understand.

You're doing everything you can

You're helping with homework, buying books, and trying to encourage your child every step of the way. But it feels like nothing is working. The more you try to help your child the more helpless you feel. The teacher says it's phonics, vocabulary or comprehension issues. But what does that really mean? And, more importantly, how do you fix it?

Personalized reading support that makes a difference

As an online reading tutor for elementary students, I understand the pain and frustration you're feeling.
I've seen it before and I've helped families just like yours turn things around.

How it Works

Assessment First, Progress Next

I start by getting to the root of the issue. I assess your child's current reading level, identifying exactly where their weaknesses are, and how we can address them.

Phonics and Beyond

Using a hands on, sequential method, I break down letter sounds and blends in a way that sticks. We don't just rush through, we play games, review, and ensure understanding at every stage.

Reading That Makes Sense

I focus on reading comprehension because its where many kids struggle. We work on main ideas, summarizing, vocabulary and analyzing text. I guide your child as they progress.

Testimonials

"My daughter loved her virtual tutoring sessions with Ms. Jamie! She gave her the reading foundation that she desperately needed as she entered first grade. She now asks to read to me every night before bed, and I have Ms. Jamie to thank for that!"

- Jenelle A. from Lebanon, NJ

"Zara was not at all interested in learning letter sounds until Ms. Jamie made it fun for her. Zara responded to her positive energy and was able to keep my daughter interested in phonics word games. Zara not only knows her letter sounds now, but she is also beginning to blend them into words. I am extremely grateful for

Ms. Jamie!"

- Johanne P. from Parkland, FL

"Steven, my fifth grader, was reading way below grade level. But after a few months of Ms. Jamie's fun filled online tutoring sessions, his reading assessment scores in school greatly increased. He looks forward to his weekly tutoring sessions with her and is greatly benefiting from them."

- Jon K. from Cherry Creek, CO
